Laurie Stone Keene

Laurie Stone Keene works as a hairstylist at Krush Hair Design in Mill Valley. She began her career as a make-up artist before moving into hairstyling, and she has more than 29 years of experience doing hair. Her work has included celebrity clients and a wide range of hair textures.

She started her hair training at Umberto's Beverly Hills, working with the Creative Director there, and has since trained with several educators in the industry. Her specialties include hair color, balayage, highlights, and hair extension installation and removal. She is experienced across many color lines, including Wella, L'Oreal, Goldwell, Redken, Schwarzkopf and Davines, and she uses Davines for color.

She builds tailored hair care around each client's hair texture, needs and lifestyle. Her approach centers on healthy hair and natural products, with an honest, transparent process and intimate consultations.
