About
Laura Sommerfelt runs Laura Sommerfelt HAIR, where she works as a colorist, stylist and men's groomer. Her career began in Milwaukee, and she later extended it to the Los Angeles area, working under celebrity stylist Buddy Porter in Beverly Hills. She launched her own business in 2018 and has over 15 years of experience.
Training includes assisting under Goldwell Color educators, and her mentors trained with Vidal Sassoon and she trained with key stylists during New York Fashion Week. Her focus is dimensional, lived-in color, custom hand-tied extensions that she sews herself, women's cuts and men's grooming.
Past work covers Emmy and Golden Globe events as well as commercial productions. Her clients include celebrities, musicians, and NBA and MLB athletes.
