Laura Lo

Laura Lo works at Salon Matarazzo in Bellevue, and she joined the team in January 2010. She completed her studies at Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue. Later she studied at Suki's Academy in Vancouver, where she first encountered Vidal Sassoon's teaching approach. At the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica she did hands-on work focused on classic styles. She has also taken courses in Vancouver, Santa Monica and Hong Kong to deepen her technical knowledge. In Hong Kong she worked privately with the creative director of Toni & Guy Academy, refining finishing technique and working with hair textures from around the world. She treats shape, balance and bone structure as central to her work, and considers a well-cut haircut the base for everything else. She follows current trends, including coverage of looks shown at London Fashion Week, and expects to continue traveling for training.
