Laura Hernandez

Laura Hernandez is a co-owner of White Sage and a licensed cosmetologist with more than ten years of experience in the beauty industry. She trained at Paul Mitchell the School after high school, graduating with the color specialty award and the Phase II honors program, and started her career at a local blow dry bar afterward.

She later studied makeup at Makeup Designory in Los Angeles, graduating with honor roll. That training covered special effects and character makeup. She spent four years in Los Angeles working at a blow dry bar in Beverly Hills and on TV shows, music videos, commercials, and award shows.

After returning to Houston, she worked at a franchise blow dry bar and rose to manager, educator, and corporate educator. Her specialty is bridal and glam makeup, and she co-founded White Sage with Christy Seijas.
