Laura Bektemirova

Laura founded Laura Beverly Nails, which she also owns, and works there as a nail artist, teacher and judge at international nail competitions. Before entering the nail industry she completed a bachelor's and a master's degree in water resources. She entered professional nail education in 2018 and relocated to the United States in 2022, after which she built up her client base in Los Angeles little by little. Her main services are Russian dry manicures and complete dry pedicures, plus hard gel overlays, rubber-base manicures and nail extensions. Her dry pedicure treats the toenails and the entire foot; she uses e-file tools and abrasive discs to thin out thickened skin and adjusts the treatment to each client's skin. Client reviews single out her Russian manicures and her Gel-X work. In 2024 she created the Warm-Wax Pedicure Protocol, a signature method centered on the soles and heels. It debuted at her first salon in Beverly Hills and was later adopted at the Los Angeles salon, and she recorded the method in a written guide and in demonstrations. Her in-person classes cover dual form extensions, Gel-X extensions, hard gel manicures, gel manicures and gel pedicures. She is recognized as a Certified Educator, after being accepted as an educator member of the American Nail Artists Association in June 2026. She holds certification as an International Judge in manicure, pedicure, nail modeling and nail art design from the Diamond Nails International Championship, and in 2026 finished the professional judge training program run by the Kazakhstan Beauty Federation and OMC Kazakhstan. That year she judged three international nail championships and evaluated 100 entries. Her competition record includes 12 first-place awards, six second-place awards and a Grand Prix. In September 2026 she presented at Utah Nail Expo in Provo, Utah, and she has been interviewed by CanvasRebel, Bold Journey and VoyageLA.
