Laura

Laura is the owner and hair artist of Laura Hair Artist in Arlington, Virginia. She trained at Paul Mitchell School in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2005 and has attended numerous hair shows and advanced classes. During her second year as a stylist she took a three-day course at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Chicago, Illinois. After the Vidal Sassoon course she moved to Chicago to work and train at a salon. In 2012 she moved to northern Virginia and worked at salons in Fairfax and Arlington. In April 2021 she started her own business at Sola Salon Studios in Ballston, Virginia. Her specialties include precision and texture cuts, highlights, babylights and strandlights, balayage, creative fashion color, corrective color, and keratin treatment. Reviewers describe her as meticulous and as someone who listens to clients' ideas, and describe long-term clients who trust her with cuts and highlights.
