Launa Stone

Launa Stone is a registered nurse who leads nursing at Calabasas Med Spa. She entered aesthetic medicine and plastic surgical nursing in 1989, having previously worked as a critical care nurse, and early on she worked side by side with plastic and reconstructive surgeons. She has over 20 years of experience in skin care and aesthetic medicine, has carried out more than 50,000 treatments, and has trained many medical professionals. She was one of the first to offer injectable treatments after Botox became available for cosmetic use in 1996. She also took part in FDA studies at UCLA that supported approval of the Diode Laser for permanent hair removal. Her focus is advanced skincare and non-invasive treatments. She has appeared in national media, including L.A. Magazine and television programs, and she introduced HydraFacial and SkinTyte on The Doctors. She is also the featured speaker and trainer in a nationally distributed training video for the DiamondTome Microdermabrasion System.
