About
Lana Cyrus, owner and creative director of Lana Cyrus Salon in Chicago, works as a hair artist and beauty entrepreneur. She graduated from Pivot Point Academy. She then became the first apprentice to Michael Anthony at Michael Anthony Salon and Spa, Chicago's first Aveda concept salon, where she gained skills in precision haircutting and color. Later she moved to Terrain, a boutique salon in Lincoln Park, and built a following there. Her specialties include precision cuts, color correction and product selection. She developed the Diamond cutting system for curly hair and has used and refined it for about 25 years. Clients regularly travel to her from California, Miami, Italy, Michigan, Highland Park and the Gold Coast.
