LaDonna Stein

LaDonna Stein is a hair and makeup artist based in Dallas, Texas. She has worked in beauty since 1995, starting her career with the Diane Dick Agency in Amarillo, Texas.

Her background includes studying art history and theatrical makeup at the University of North Texas, along with training at Makeup Artist Cosmetics in Dallas and the Diane Dick Modeling Agency in Amarillo. She has trained with artists including Jan Strimple, Kim Wood, Michael DeVellis and Joe Dulude II. She has worked as an advanced artist-in-residence for MAC Cosmetics, and MAC Impact Team is listed among her awards and nominations.

Her work spans commercial, editorial and bridal projects in many locations, including travel abroad, and has been seen on stage, on screen and in print. She has worked with performers including the Beastie Boys, Karen Elson and Dita Von Teese. Vintage hair and makeup is her biggest passion, and pinup and vintage work is a particular focus.

She also teaches makeup artists and clients privately, with varied skin types, tones and face shapes in mind. For bridal and other projects, clients can expect her to keep the client's vision at the center while adding her own style.
