Lacey

Lacey is the owner of Luminosity Color Studio and works as its color specialist. She started beauty school in 2005, after high school, and graduated with honors. She then completed a further year in an advanced coloring program, after which she was chosen to hold a chair at a prestigious downtown Seattle salon. Over about 20 years behind the chair, she has trained at Goldwell Academy in New York City and completed L'Oréal specialized training in San Diego. She has also attended many classes with celebrity stylists and editorial mentors. She holds Goldwell Master colorist certification and has been balayage certified for 19 years. Her work has included TV commercials, runway shows and film, and she has colored celebrities' hair. Her specialty is color that brings out luminosity by mapping shadows and highlights to reflect light. She has worked with more than 15 color lines, including Goldwell, L'Oréal and Kevin Murphy, and she is an Amika retailer. She aims to give each client a signature look and enjoys working with all types of people, hair and coloring techniques.
