Kurtis M. Opp, PA-C

Kurtis M. Opp, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with over 35 years of clinical experience. He spent a decade as a respiratory therapist before becoming a PA, and his PA work started in cardiac surgery, urgent care and occupational medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University and completed Stanford University's Primary Care Associate Program, graduating with honors in 1991. He then moved into dermatology at UCSF, where he trained and worked for ten years alongside Professor Marcus Conant, M.D. He co-founded the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, where he is a former president, sits on the steering committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Physician Assistants, and started the Dermatology PA Journal Club.
