About
Kristin is the founder and owner of DermaHue. She works as a Technical Medical Artist and has 23 years of experience as a professional makeup artist. Earlier she worked as both a sales professional and a trainer, and she retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Her specialty is permanent makeup, including eyebrows, and areola restoration through The Areola Restoration Center. She is a Virginia Board Certified Permanent Makeup Technician.
Kristin trained at Samira's Permanent Makeup Training Center in North Carolina in microblading, PMU eyeliner, PMU lips and areola re-pigmentation, and at Nouveau Contour Institute in Florida in advanced hybrid pigmentation for eyebrows, advanced ombre lips and advanced brow strokes. She also trained at Micro-pigment Implantation Technologies Training Academy and holds a paramedical micropigmentation certification. She attends seminars every year through the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics and takes advanced classes across the country to expand her technique.
