About
Kristen Wilhelm is the creator and hair guru at GLOWstudios in Ashburn, Virginia. She began her beauty career at Graham Webb, obtained a cosmetology license in 2003, and holds a bachelor's degree in business from Clemson University.
She is an American Board Certified Colorist and has worked in a variety of salons, including running her own, Salon Kris. She also served as Director of Hair at Primp Style Lounge and has educated other stylists as part of Eufora International.
Outside the salon, she co-founded Sensory Sundays, a non-profit that supports special needs children and families who find haircuts challenging.
