Kristen owns Ren Nail Studio, where she also works as the nail technician. She holds nail technician licensure, and her training began in 2019 at a nail technology school. Before launching her own studio, she spent time at a Minnesota nail salon focused on gentler, lower-exposure services, such as dry manicures and pedicures. Finding nothing comparable in the Triangle area of North Carolina, she opened Ren Nail Studio there. She is a Regional Education Ambassador for Dazzle Dry and completed a certification course through Oncology Spa Solutions. She reviews product ingredients with a focus on toxins and selects the cleanest options she can find.
