Kisha Gilliard-Wise

Kisha Gilliard-Wise is the founder of the practice and a Family Nurse Practitioner who holds board certification as an FNP-C. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse after earning an associate degree in 2001, and she has worked in hospitals across Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and South Carolina. Her clinical experience includes critical care, orthopedic-trauma and cardiology, and she has also worked in nursing education and management.

Her training includes an associate degree from Essex Community College, a bachelor's in nursing and a master's in nursing education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and a post-master's certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Coppin State University, completed in May 2020. She also trained through WorldLink Medical Academy. She is certified by Evexias Solutions to place hormone pellets, and she works with the clinic's nursing team on hormone pellet therapy.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and the Maryland Nursing Association, and she has received several awards for clinical and non-clinical service during her career.
