Kira Hansen

Kira Hansen is a Nurse Practitioner at Atagi Plastic Surgery & Skin Aesthetics in Lone Tree, where she leads the hair restoration program. She holds the Certified Nurse Practitioner credential, the Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) credential, and the Certified Hair Loss Practitioner certification.

She has 29 years of experience in the medical field, 19 of them spent specializing in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. For 19 years she has also served as an assistant to Dr. Tanya Atagi, overseeing surgical procedures and managing the surgical side of the practice.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from 1996, a master's degree, specialized surgical training, and an 87-week evidence-based hair-loss fellowship with Dr. Jeffrey Donovan. She is also trained in platelet-rich plasma, platelet-rich fibrin and peptide therapies. Her hair-loss work covers advanced hair and scalp evaluation and whole-body approaches to hair restoration, an area she has a particular interest in.
