Kimberly Hood

Kimberly Hood is a master hair stylist and color specialist who works on both cuts and color, with a focus on color and texture. She studied design and communications at Bradley University in Peoria. While in college she worked weekends at Barbara Harmison's Chicagoland salon. After graduating she joined the design team at Marshall Field's in Chicago, then the educational team of Salon Partners in Naperville, Illinois. She became a Schwarzkopf educator after completing training. She opened her first salon in 1998 and co-created Studio 21 Salon and Day Spa with Barbara Harmison. She serves women and men at the studio. She favors balanced dimensional color with a little edge, weighs cut, texture, style and lifestyle when choosing color, and suggests subtle shifts from one season to the next. Building client confidence is her top priority.
