Kimberly Bonondona owns the studio and works as its hair colorist, specializing in blondes and balayage. She has been working behind the chair for about four years.
She was one of 25 nominees out of 16,000 entries for the Behind the Chair One Shot Platinum award in August 2019, and was named hair painter of the month in July 2018 on the Hair Painters page. Her work has been featured on social media pages including Behind The Chair, Olaplex, Modern Salon and Wella Education, and in publications including Cosmopolitan, Allure, InStyle, Glamour, Refinery29, Southern Living, Health Magazine, Modern Salon and American Salon.
She is also CEO of Capelli Rose, a hair scrunchie line sold at the studio, and founded the Balayage Society Instagram page, which has 120K followers.
