Kim Marinetto founded Avie! Med Spa & Laser Center and owns it. She is a registered nurse who became an RN in 1988 and has more than 30 years of experience across several areas of medicine, including critical care and recovery. For the past 15 years her practice has centered on cosmetic medicine.
She holds a master aesthetician license from the state of Virginia and received medical aesthetician certification in 2006. Her training includes a medical aesthetics certificate from the Yvonne De Vilar Scientific Skin Care School in Vienna, Virginia, and BOTOX Cosmetic, dermal filler, and sclerotherapy training at The Tozzi Institute of Medical Aesthetics in Palm Beach, Florida. In 2013 she attended the first-ever CoolSculpting University session in California.
She is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American MedSpa Association, and the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses.
