Kim Jones owns Roots Radicals Salon and works as a senior stylist, leading the team. She trained at the Carsten Institute in Union Square, NYC, then apprenticed under master stylists and colorists at Eva Scrivo, Edris and A.K.S. in Manhattan before moving to work in Brooklyn in 2009.
She launched the salon in 2012 with the aim of high-end results in a fun, laid-back setting. Her work covers cutting, color, keratin treatments and curly hair, and she built her clientele on natural balayage, complex color corrections and versatile haircuts.
