Kim Candice

Kim Candice owns Awaken Skincare by Kim Candice, where she works as an esthetician, and she brings more than four decades of skin care work to the role. She started out in 1980 assisting dermatologists as a medical assistant, and in 1982 she became a licensed esthetician. Her jobs have included luxury spas in Thailand, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands and California. She has taught skincare and makeup at the John Robert Powers school and has also educated professionals for skincare and haircare brands. In 1990 she opened Skincare by the Sea in Carmel, California. She later launched Skintique in Evergreen, Colorado, where she looked into non-toxic skincare ingredients. Her practice centers on natural, botanically based products. In 2015 she created her own line, Awaken Skin Care, and she takes a holistic approach with it.
