Khaled Hassan, MD

Dr. Khaled Hassan is the Medical Director at Kare Chiropractic and is available on Wednesdays. He is a physician who runs the medical weight loss program from beginning to end, writes the prescriptions, answers patients' questions about their medications, and meets each weight loss patient for a private, personalized consultation. He holds a doctorate in Internal Medicine and Surgery and completed his internship at Dhaka Medical College in 1993, receiving an Excellent Performance rating. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Forest Park Hospital in Saint Louis, where he served as Chief Resident. He then spent four years at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, where he had work published in the American Heart Association Journal. He has practiced as a physician in Saint Louis for nearly 25 years and was medical director for more than five years at several nursing homes in the Saint Louis area. Outside of weight management, he consults with clinics that treat joint problems with exosomes, weight loss, hormone imbalance and low testosterone. He also treats erectile dysfunction at a men's clinic, using acoustic wave therapy, exosomes and medication. He is one of two GAINSWAVE-certified physicians for erectile dysfunction treatment in St. Louis. His training includes R3 Stem Cells Training in Regenerative Medicine and workshops on Botox, fillers, Kybella, microneedling and facial rejuvenation. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and other medical organizations.
