Kevin J. Cross, MD

Kevin J. Cross, MD, is a plastic surgeon who heads Cross Medical Group. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and his board scores rank him in the top three percent nationwide. He moved back to Philadelphia in 2008 after working alongside several well-known cosmetic surgeons in New York City. His training covers general and plastic surgery at Cornell University, New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University, plus aesthetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. Earlier research included a fellowship at Northwestern University on skin aging and healing, and service as lead researcher on the Tissue Regeneration Project at Cornell Medical Center. He holds an academic appointment at Cornell University Medical Center and headed a clinical study of a device meant to limit scarring during incision healing. He is in his second decade of practice, operating three to four full days each week. He performs more than 1,000 cosmetic procedures a year. His surgical menu includes facelifts, eyelid rejuvenation, brow and forehead surgery, nose surgery, breast augmentation and reduction, liposuction, tummy tucks, minimal incision arm lifts, body contouring and hand rejuvenation, and he also gives BOTOX and injectable fillers. For suitable candidates a neck lift can be done without a facelift. He does not cut short the time he spends with each patient. His aesthetic approach matches that of Dr. Lyons, with whom he often works on procedures.
