Kevin J. Cross

Dr. Kevin J. Cross is a board-certified plastic surgeon and MD at Cross Medical Group, and he is in his second decade of practice. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His board scores put him in the top three percent nationwide. He trained in general and plastic surgery at Cornell University, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University in New York City, adding aesthetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as an AOA honors society member. After working with cosmetic surgeons in New York City, he returned to Philadelphia in 2008.

Earlier, he was a research fellow at Northwestern University, studying how skin ages and heals, and he served as primary investigator on the Tissue Regeneration Project at Cornell Medical Center. He holds an academic appointment at Cornell University Medical Center, has written five textbook chapters, presents at national meetings, and led a clinical study of a device that limits scarring during incision healing.

His work covers facelifts, eyelid rejuvenation, brow and forehead surgery, nose surgery, breast augmentation and reduction, liposuction, tummy tucks, minimal-incision arm lifts, body contouring and hand rejuvenation. He operates three to four full days a week and performs more than 1,000 cosmetic procedures a year. He has experience with BOTOX and injectable fillers and will perform a standalone neck lift for suitable candidates. He performs facial, breast and body surgery at the Philadelphia practice alongside Dr. Jackie Lyons.
