Kerry Zirpolo

Kerry Zirpolo owns and operates Moxie Salon Belmont and works there as its stylist. She has more than 20 years of experience as a stylist.

Her training includes time at Bumble and Bumble University in New York City, where she is certified in advanced cutting, coloring and styling. She also trained with Oribe in Miami, with advanced training in Oribe styling, and at a three-time Best of Boston winner salon.

Kerry works as a corrective color specialist and is a certified Goldwell Colorist with advanced training. She is also certified in the Simply Smooth Keratin Treatment, with advanced training. She works almost exclusively with Goldwell color products.

Clients can expect each appointment to begin with a thorough consultation, undivided attention from shampoo to blow-dry, and a schedule kept on time. For cutting, she chooses between razor and straight shears based on hair texture, length and the result wanted, cuts wet hair as best practice, and dry cuts curly or wavy hair to fine-tune the shape.
