Kerry-Lou works as an expert in makeup and hairstyling, a career that has spanned thirty years. Her clients have included celebrities, and her work has reached audiences through television programmes and advertising campaigns. She has appeared on Good Morning America, Movie and a Make-over, The View, the CBS Morning Show, Dr Oz and The Today Show.

Over the past five years, she has also been active as a makeup and hairstyling influencer, publishing a blog that includes video content. In 2016 she launched a line of makeup brushes, which is also available through the Silver Style Studio website.
