Keoshia "Keke" Birts is a Philadelphia-based loctician and the founder of Locs by Keke, LLC and L9, LLC. She has worked in natural hair for nearly 18 years, starting as a braider before becoming a loctician. Advanced training has been part of that progression from braiding to loc work.
Her work centers on the full range of loc care: starting, reattaching, combining, repairing and maintaining locs. She works with both adults and children. She expanded to Philadelphia in 2019.
She works hands-on and holds the integrity of the craft as a priority. Her business is built on loyalty, client privacy and intention, and she created the L9 line to house both products and education.
