Kenya Fauntleroy

Kenya Fauntleroy runs Texture Life Haircare, where she works as a hair care expert and teacher focused on textured hair. Her approach centers on care that helps hair stay in good condition. She holds a bachelor's in science from Spelman College, earned in 1999. She first worked as an applications chemist at a fragrance firm near Atlanta, then went to cosmetology school, and she earned a Master of Cosmetology License in 2006. Her career started at Too Groovy Salon in Atlanta, where she built much of her hands-on experience with natural textures. She co-produced a DVD on styling natural hair, has taught at the World Natural Hair Show and with an Atlanta association of natural hair care professionals, and is currently teaching with Amore Colore's Atlanta group.
