Kema Hayes owns Hair and Scalp Recovery Center and leads the practice. She holds a Certified Trichologist credential and has worked in hair care since 1989, with more than thirty years as a licensed hair professional. She is a member of the World Trichology Society. Her education includes a trichology certification completed in 2017 through the cosmetology program at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, along with a Tree of Life Certification in Natural Healing, Health, and Wellness. She also has training as a hair colorist, a Brazilian blowout professional, and an advanced haircutting specialist. At the center she treats damaged hair, hair growth, scalp disorders and non-surgical hair replacement. Clients travel considerable distances to see her, and a large share of her clients are women and girls.
