About
Kelsea Mitchell is the founder of Ocean Brows & Aesthetics and its brow expert. She has been a licensed medical aesthetician since 2012. She started her career in Manhattan, New York, spending her first two years in waxing studios and makeup salons, working on hair removal and color matching. She trained at Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics and holds a diploma from there.
She then moved into medical aesthetics, working with physicians on laser aesthetics, microcurrent facelifts, Botox and fillers. She spent four years at Mayo Clinic Cosmetic Center in dermatology and plastic surgery work, where she was the first full-time medical aesthetician and helped develop skincare, lash and eyebrow services. She was also the first microblading specialist at Mayo Clinic before opening Ocean Brows & Aesthetics as her own company.
Her work covers microblading, powder brows and combination brows, with a focus on natural-looking eyebrows, as well as dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, microcurrent, lash lift and tint, and LED treatments. Her certifications include PhiBrows Microblading Artist, Candela Exceed Microneedling, Elleebana Lash Lift Technician, professional hair removal with Cirepil Wax from Paris, and ZO Medical Grade Skincare as an expert aesthetician. She has completed Joint Commission sanitation and sterilization training and a bloodborne pathogen course, and holds a Department of Health Artist License and a Department of Health Tattoo Establishment License.
