Kelly

Kelly is the founder and CEO of Hi-Lites Salon & Art Gallery and also works as a stylist there. Earlier work included cleaning the space that now houses the salon.

Training includes a New York State cosmetologist license and a 1,000-hour cosmetology program at The Salon Professional Academy, along with a BA from the University at Buffalo. Specialties are silk press, color and blonde services, and the work is open to all hair textures, ages and identities. The aim is to give each client high-quality service and education.

Teaching yoga is part of the professional background: a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor, with public and private classes and the creation of the Sunday Candlelight Yoga Series.

Recent work outside the salon includes live painting at the Burchfield Art Center in Buffalo in November 2025, and a multi-day holiday event in December 2025 with COTY, painting perfume bottles at Sephora and ULTA.
