About
Kelli J founded Kelli J Beauty, where she is CEO, and she styles clients herself at the Kelli J salon in Atlanta. Her career started in hairstyling and has grown to include professional makeup, consumer products, film and television, and teaching. As a union stylist, she works on film, television and theatre productions, with credits on Greenleaf, The Underground Railroad and The Resident. She has also worked as Key Hair/Wig Tech for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, held the roles of creative director and lead makeup artist at New York Fashion Week FW2018, and led hair styling at New York Fashion Week FW2019. Her work has appeared on NBC Atlanta's Morning Show and Fox News. She also runs the Freelance Academy, which trains hair and makeup artists, and styles women who lead, including professional women, creatives and executives.
