Keisha Mines

Keisha Mines is a hair artist and the owner of Lamace Visions in Richmond. With more than 18 years in the hair industry, she is recognized for short cuts, pixies and bold color work. At the salon she teaches pixie cutting classes, offered one-on-one and as a virtual course. Her styling spans print, film and editorial projects, and she serves everyday clients as well as editorial and runway clients. Runway credits include the Christian Siriano show at New York Fashion Week and Guvanch's S/S 2026 collection with Vernon François. Her work has appeared at Philadelphia Fashion Week and RVA Fashion Week, and in 2021 she did the hair for a French fashion house's fragrance ad, Intense AD. Editorial features have run in Modern Salon, American Salon and Indie Stylist, including a 2018 American Salon spread built around texture and geometric styling. She trained under Naeemah Lafond, Crystal Wright and Yene Damtew. She was named to the Behind the Chair Class of 2022 (Top 25 and Top 100), took the Texture-Indie Pro Award in 2023, and was named Enhancement Style of the Year at the T.H.E. Awards in 2023. She was a 2023 finalist in the NAHA Moment category at Wella TrendVision BEA, a 2018 Professional Stylist winner at Sebastian's What's Next Awards, a 2019 semifinalist in the Creative Hair category of the Trendvision BEA Awards, and won Editorial of the Year at the global Beauty Awards Competition in 2020.
