Kei

Kei owns and styles hair at Kei's Garden in Lynnwood, Washington. Originally from Yamagata, Japan, Kei is now based in Seattle.

Before moving into hairstyling, Kei moved to Tokyo at 18 and spent about five years as a professional drummer in bands and dance halls. Kei later worked for ten years in salons in Shinjuku, and brings techniques and sensibilities developed in Japan into the work at the studio.

Thorough consultations are central to how Kei works, with attention to each client's hair texture, facial structure and lifestyle. Hairstyles are built closely with each client so the result fits the individual.
