Keely Phelps, PA, owns Mint Aesthetics & Skin in Indianapolis, and works there as a Physician Assistant and aesthetic injector. She founded the business to bring clinical medicine and design together. She has over a decade of clinical experience as a licensed Physician Assistant, beginning in emergency medicine after she graduated from the University of St. Francis, and her aesthetic practice grew out of procedures she performed in clinical work. Her education includes a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University. She has specialized and advanced aesthetic injection training, advanced training in non-invasive facial rejuvenation, and is a Face Reality Certified Acne Expert. She also maintains training in facial vascular anatomy and emergency vascular occlusion management protocols. Her specialties are GLP-1 weight loss and dermal filler treatments, and she performs aesthetic injections and Emface treatments at the salon. For GLP-1 care, she reviews health history, current medications and lab results before recommending a medication and dosing plan, starts patients on low doses, and orders baseline labs including a metabolic panel, thyroid function and A1C. For fillers, she selects the formulation, places it with fine needles or blunt-tip cannulas using aspiration techniques, and documents progress with photos. Glo2Facial capsules are chosen after a skin analysis and consultation that reviews medical history and skincare routine. She personally performs every treatment. She serves patients from Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers and surrounding communities.
