About
Kee Taylor is the CEO and owner of Deeper Than Hair, where she also works as a hairstylist. Her other roles include author and editor in chief.
She started out working from her parents' basement. Her film work includes serving as department head of hair on her last three films. Her hair work has appeared on TV shows, movies, press junkets and red carpets, and has been published in magazines including Essence and InStyle.
She styles hair for celebrity clients and works in the entertainment industry. Online, she created the DMX Challenge and The Black Effect Challenge on Instagram, and she runs the Deeper Than Hair TV YouTube channel, which has more than 200 tutorials and 1.3 million subscribers. She also wrote the children's book All Hair is Good Hair, available through Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
