Kayla Weiss

Kayla Weiss runs Kayla Weiss Beauty, where she works as a threading artist. She is a licensed cosmetologist. She finished Paul Mitchell The School in 2009 and that year started as an assistant in Artesia, California, later moving up to stylist there. Her eyebrow threading training came from Brenda Pham, a specialist in the technique. Roughly two years at SHIN followed, where she was the only facial threading artist on staff and served high-end clients and celebrities. Her credits span hair styling and brow shaping for television, film, runway shows and weddings. In 2015 she styled wigs at The Walt Disney Company, and that work led to union membership with the I.A.T.S.E. Local 706 Hair Stylists and Make-up Artists Guild. In 2016 she became co-owner of Thread Eyebrows in Studio City, California. Her specialties are threading, microblading, brow lamination and brow tinting. She teaches private and semi-private threading classes built around The Art of Professional Threading. Past brow and hair clients include television, film, music and production companies.
