Kay Shrader owns Salon K and works as its master stylist. She has been a master stylist for nearly 30 years. Her specialties include custom painted dimensional color and no-fuss ombré, along with beachy, lived-in balayage. She also works on intricate cuts, clipper cuts, French bobs and asymmetrical cuts, and does blowouts. She picks each look around a client's daily life and face shape, tailoring cuts and color to hair texture, curl, growth, density and head shape. Consultations come first so each look is developed for the individual, and she keeps up with products and trends to advise on hair care and styling. Her work ranges from versatile everyday looks to vibrant rainbow color.
