Katy Yip works as Aesthetics Consultant Expert at Katysface, bringing 29 years of experience in beauty consulting and education. Each year she goes to international esthetics congresses and expos in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Europe. Her training started with graduation from MONITA Beauty and Hair College in Hong Kong. She holds CIDESCO International Diplomate status and works as an International Beauty Consultant with CHLITINA Research and Skincare Center. She also holds professional advancement diplomas from make-up masters Chan Man Fai in Hong Kong and Berry Bergen in Hollywood. She holds a New York State professional esthetician license and a New York State professional tattooing license. She is also licensed as an esthetician and for tattooing in Hong Kong and Europe, and holds numerous other aesthetics consultant licenses, including one for make-up instruction. She is certified as a consultant for DECLEOR PARIS, FARAH Professional Specialist, ELENE PARIS, GERARDS Italy and OLP Oxygen Life Plus. She also holds instructor licenses for DERMAGLOW Micro-Dermabrasion (Magic Peel), MHT EPS Regeneration Skin-tone (Magic Hand Face Lift) and RPT Revitalight Photopulsation LED Treatment, plus a World Ten Best Body Slimming license. She introduces clients to modern, technology-driven treatments and products. Since 1998, she has served as beauty and make-up consultant, director and sponsor for Asian-Chinese beauty pageants and singing contests in New York. Between 2004 and 2016 she held consulting and officer roles with several community organizations. She received a 1996 award for excellence from an international aesthetician association at the Esthetic World Expos, and a 2009 citation from NYS Assemblyman Felix W. Ortiz. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
