About
Katrina operates Katrina the Glam Artist in Owings Mills, Maryland. Her cosmetics beautification business has been running since 2004, and she has almost two decades of makeup artistry experience, with dozens of weddings per year. Her credits include serving as premiere makeup artist at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York on many occasions, four years with MAC Cosmetics, and a nationwide beauty campaign for Covergirl. She has applied makeup for the CBS show 60 Minutes, appeared several times on local news segments offering beauty tips, and been featured in Nail Pro magazine and interviewed for an Ebony magazine article. Essence magazine's website named her among the top makeup artists on Instagram. She has worked as a microblading artist since early 2016 and holds advanced certification in the technique. She has completed multiple permanent makeup courses across the country and previously taught for Brow Design International, training hundreds of professionals nationwide. Through her own company she now teaches classes in permanent makeup, lash extensions and nail art, with instruction also covering microblading, permanent eyeliner, shading and ombre brows, and scalp micropigmentation. Her brow menu includes microblading, combo brows and brow shaping, alongside her makeup work. Lash extensions are tailored to each client's curl, length and fullness following a consultation. In nails, her focus is custom nail art, including KTG Nails. She works with clients seeking fuller brows, enhanced lashes, or new brows after hair loss or conditions that cause it. Separately, the business sells original artwork and customizes denim and camo jackets, skates and sneakers under the Pieces by KW label.
