Katina Foster

Katina Foster is the owner of Pure Luxury Beauty Studio. She has worked in the hair extension business for well over 30 years.

She tests hair extension colors, textures and durability when choosing products for the studio. She works with all hair textures, including African-American, Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Indian and bi-racial hair. Fusion appointments take about four hours from start to finish, including cutting and styling, and she prefers working with hair longer than three inches.

She works by appointment, three days a week. She focuses on the health of the natural hair underneath extensions and will decline a service if the hair is unsuitable. She does not perform fusion on hair that is excessively shedding or damaged, and she recommends a full-head sew-in, with or without a closure, for clients who are all natural or transitioning between relaxers.
