Katie Rutherford is a family nurse practitioner and the owner injector at Unconventional Aesthetics. She started at Wishard Hospital right out of high school and advanced from care tech to student nurse, graduate nurse and RN.
She trained at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), graduating from nursing school in 2007, and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University in 2014. She took the certification board exam in spring 2015. After nursing school she worked in critical care for a few years, and after 2015 she began practicing as a family nurse practitioner at a walk-in clinic.
Her specialty is natural enhancements, and she describes her goal as helping clients get the results they want.
