Katie McIntyre

Katie McIntyre owns Hair by Katie McIntyre in Laguna Hills and works there as its stylist. She has been in the hair business since 2006 and has been doing hair for over 19 years. Her focus is custom highlights and hair extensions.

She takes education classes at least once a month. Her credentials include Schwarzkopf color expert and several extension certifications: Invisible Bead Extension master certified, Elite Artist with Invisible Bead Extensions, and Invisible Bead Extensions certified in 2020. She is also certified in more than five hair extension methods, including Hairtalk hand-tied, Hotheads, DreamCatchers and Hair and Compounds.

She found Invisible Bead Extensions in 2019, after trying several types of extensions on her own hair. Her extension work starts with a consultation and color matching, blending two to four shades for each batch so the hair sits naturally with the client's own.
