About
Katie Herrera co-founded Horizons OBGYN & Aesthetics with her co-founder, Dr. Manny Herrera. She is a certified nurse midwife and women's health nurse practitioner, and she works as an advanced practice nurse providing aesthetic treatments. She started her career as a patient care technician and later as a registered nurse at Winnie Palmer Hospital, and has more than 15 years of experience as a nurse and midwife.
Her aesthetic work includes lip augmentation with fillers and the lip flip, and she works as an esthetician. She has more than three years of aesthetic practice and training, moved from midwifery and nurse practice into aesthetics, and continues to pursue advanced education on the latest injection techniques. She has attended numerous conferences and training seminars.
