Katie Ek

Katie Ek is a licensed esthetician who has been licensed since 2001, when she started her skin care career at a salon in Carmel Valley. She has about 25 years of experience in the skin care industry and still sees many clients from that first salon. In 2006 she explored the medical side of esthetics and opened Aqua Oasis Skin Care in Solana Beach. Her training includes graduating from Palomar Institute of Cosmetology and continuing post-graduate study in skin care. She holds a number of certifications across several skin care modalities. Her specialties are anti-aging facials and speed waxing, and she has recently added sugaring to her services. She paused her business in 2017, then restarted in 2020 after returning to San Diego, now as Katie Ek Esthetics in Encinitas.
