Katie Cardoso

Katie Cardoso is a Nurse Practitioner and aesthetic injector who works solo at Coastal Wave Wellness & Weightloss in Fairhaven. She has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for over ten years and has more than twenty years of experience in emergency medicine. Her aesthetic training began in 2018, and she has worked as an aesthetic injector for over eight years. She started working in medical weight loss in 2019 and now practices obesity medicine, including GLP-1 medication support. Her work spans injectable treatments, skin care, weight management and overall wellness. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College, trained at UMass Boston for a Post-Masters Certificate in Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, and completed obesity training through the Blackburn Obesity Course at Harvard Medical Center. Visits with her are one-on-one, and she starts by hearing what health concerns and wellness aims a client brings, then shapes a tailored plan that includes healthy lifestyle habits.
