Katie Barber

Katie Barber owns Balanced Roots Massage Therapy & Esthetics and holds licenses as a massage therapist and as an esthetician. She began pursuing a career in massage therapy in 2019, graduated from the Arlington School of Massage in 2020, and gained experience at a treatment-focused clinic before opening her own practice.

She returned to school in 2023 and graduated from Evergreen Beauty College in 2024, becoming a licensed esthetician that same year. She offers facials and chemical peels aimed at dryness, acne, signs of aging, and overall skin health, and customizes each treatment to hydration, exfoliation, or relaxation needs.

Her specialty is upper-body pain relief and stress management. Her massage style is rooted in Swedish technique with myofascial release, trigger point therapy, contract-relax, and pin-and-stretch work. Clients can expect medium to deep pressure and a session shaped to their needs, with the goal of relief from pain and stress, better mobility, injury recovery, and general well-being.
