About
Katie is a co-owner and founder of Blush and Braids Beauty Bar, and works there as a hair and makeup artist. She started in the beauty industry 16 years ago, trained at the Aveda Institute, and worked as a stylist in Aveda salons.
Bridal updos are her specialty, particularly relaxed, textured styles, and she also does braiding. She has taken continuing education in fusion, tape-in and hand-tied extensions. Clients can request hair with her specifically, and she travels from Puyallup, WA.
Her favorite hair lines include Kenra, Redken and Aveda, and her favorite makeup lines include Nars, Givenchy and MAC. For foundation she uses Temptu, RCMA and Face Atelier.
