Kathy Miller

Kathy Miller has more than twenty years of work as a hairstylist and is based at Mint in Austin. She holds a cosmetology license. Her training came through apprenticeships under Aveda Master Stylist Javier Herrera of Maximum FX and American Board Certified Colorist Angie Jones. Her color work includes vivid reds, cool grays, honey browns and blondes. She also cuts men's styles with precision and layered cuts that either move freely or keep clean, solid lines. Each client gets a look planned around their needs, with advice on styling with and without heat. Away from the salon, she works as a stylist on television and film productions, with credits that include Twisters, Walker, Manglehorn, Alita, Boyhood and Friday Night Lights. She has also worked on runway shows for Gail Chovan, Massimo and Dolce & Gabbana. She keeps building her skills through classes and by working alongside colleagues.
