Katherine Kay Evelyn owns and leads The Nail Studio by Mskreativekay as its CEO, and has worked in the nail industry since 2001. Her training came from the Long Island Nail & Skin Care Institute, and she graduated from the Nail Academy in 2004. She is a licensed nail technician.
Her skills cover nail structure, filing and shaping, and building the base for acrylic nails. Her work has appeared in Vibe Vixen, Ebony Style, Vogue Italia and Banana Republic, and she has collaborated with Sephora. Ebony Style named her one of its 2012 Top 30 Nail Artists. Celebrity clients have included Cynthia Bailey, Kimbella and Chanel Iman.
She has been a guest speaker at the University of Virginia and FIT.
